Job Responsibilities – Registered Nurse (RN)

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments, making sound clinical decisions.
• Develops, implements, evaluates, and updates individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Monitors patient responses to interventions and documents clinical progress.
• Provides patient and family education, including discharge instructions.
• Prioritizes care for patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs.
• Delegates responsibilities and provides guidance, mentoring, and supervision to staff.
• Promotes teamwork, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Participates in unit goals, quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Supports cost-effective care while maintaining regulatory and professional standards.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and secure patient care environment.
• Assesses discharge needs and coordinates appropriate resources.
• Incorporates cultural, ethnic, and psychosocial considerations into patient care.
• Applies current research and evidence-based practices to improve clinical outcomes.
