Description

RN - Medical/Surgical Tele (MS/Tele)

Location: Reno, Nevada
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shift, 3 x 12s (1845 - 0715), 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nevada
2+ years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience in an acute care setting
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Current NIHSS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

Deliver care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
Perform initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, with appropriate documentation.
Complete admission assessments within the required timeframe, following policy and procedures.
Apply knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care.
Determine appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients and understand the range of treatment they need.
