Mammography-Sonography Technician

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts Employment Type: LTA Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (shift 07:30 to 16:00)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Massachusetts
• ARRT certification
• At least 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist, with experience within the last year

Health and Immunization Requirements

• MMR: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccines (or two MMR vaccines), or proof of immunity by blood test. Vaccination is required if the titer shows not immune or low immunity.
• Influenza vaccine: Required for new travelers effective 10/4/2026, and due by 11/13/2026 for travelers on assignment. No religious or medical exemptions or waivers are considered. Flu mist administered by a pharmacy or provider is accepted; self-administered flu mist is not accepted.
• TB test: TB skin test documentation, or a negative QuantiFERON or T-spot blood test, within 3 months of start date. Update if there is a break of more than 6 months.
• Health statement: Physician statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA within 365 days of start date. Update if there is a break of more than 6 months.

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check: Completed within 45 days prior to start date. Covers counties resided, employed, and attended school in the past 7 years, and international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the past 7 years.
• Massachusetts CORI: Attestation with date run and findings, completed within 30 days prior to start date. Covers Massachusetts criminal history back to age 17.
• SSN trace: Run with the criminal check, listing addresses and aliases for the past 7 years.
• National sex offender check: Run within 30 days of start and annually.
• Exclusion checks: Federal (OIG, GSA) and state Medicaid exclusion lists, including New Hampshire and Massachusetts, run within 30 days of start and annually. Upload an attestation listing searches, dates, and findings.
• Education verification: Highest level of education and any required certification verified through a background check company.

Application Submission Requirements

• Resume covering the past 7 years of work experience, with city and state for all work experience and education
• 2 references within the past 4 years, with at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Current candidate submission coversheet (required for initial assignments and new facility submissions, not extensions)

Onboarding Requirements

• Confirmation of Assignment/POI form, required for initial assignments and extensions upon acceptance; must be updated if start date changes
• Attestation completed after registering in the vendor onboarding platform

Optional or Conditional Items

• If TB skin test or titer is positive, a chest x-ray dated after the positive test showing no active tuberculosis is required.
• TB symptom survey, required only if PPD is positive, completed before start and updated annually.
• Name change documentation, if credentials do not match current legal name.
