Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: As per facility
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 23, 2026
 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Labor and Delivery, circulating C-sections, postpartum care, newborn care, and couplet care.
 

Responsibilities

Provide care to patients during labor and delivery.

Circulate Cesarean section procedures.

Provide postpartum care and newborn assessments.

Deliver care to well-baby newborns and postpartum mothers.

Provide antepartum care and monitor maternal and fetal conditions.

Support patients through normal and complicated deliveries.
 

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.

Previous travel nursing experience required.

Active RN State License.

BLS certification.

ACLS certification.

NRP certification.

AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification or equivalent.

Strong experience in Labor and Delivery, C-section circulation, postpartum, and newborn care.
 

Schedule Requirements

Three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Weekend coverage required, with four weekend shifts per six-week schedule.

Friday and Saturday nights are considered weekend shifts.

Must be available to work two out of three holidays.

No block scheduling available.

Additional Information

Scrubs provided by the facility.

No floating required.

Patient population includes obstetric patients over 20 weeks, postpartum mothers, newborns, and postoperative GYN patients.
