Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Fort Myers, Florida Specialty: ER Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per week: 36 Contract length: 13 weeks Unit: 22-bed unit at a Level 2 trauma facility Patient acuity: High-acuity ED with complex patients Ratios: 3 to 4:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
PALS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Assignment Details

Floating is required. Travelers are first to float and may also float to other campuses in the system.
Radius rule: must live within 50 miles of permanent address.
Culture is very important. Travelers are welcomed into the units and are expected to function as core staff.

Application and Submission Requirements

All RTO must be on submission; the facility will not approve RTO after submission.
Load all demographic information at submittal (address, email, full DOB, full SSN, RN license number). Candidates cannot be confirmed without it.
Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start. No exceptions for pending documents.
