Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Nashville, Tennessee
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- This position is on the locked incarcerated unit of the hospital, and travelers must be comfortable with the prison population
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of experience in any nursing setting except Home Health, Hospice, or School Services, within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute or Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- Float required to other MS/Tele units, including forensics, inpatient units, and potentially ICU
- Accepts 1st travelers
- Locals accepted at same rate
Holiday Expectations
- For contracts beginning in September, RTO will not be approved for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day
- Contract nurses are expected to participate in the holiday rotation and work 3 of these 6 holidays
- Contracts starting in September should extend into the new year to ensure holiday coverage
