Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Beaufort, South Carolina
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–7:15
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Possible extension
• 1st time travelers accepted
• Must not live within 50 miles of the facility

Role details

• MedSurg role that frequently floats to PCU/Stepdown and other MS/Tele units
• Travelers must be comfortable working both MedSurg and PCU/Stepdown
• Float frequency should be confirmed
• Unit notes: 3T nights
• Ratios: Stepdown 1:4–5; MedSurg 1:5–6
• Pediatric experience is not required; travelers without pediatric experience will not see pediatric patients
• Scrubs provided: royal blue/white

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• IV start

Preferred

• Travel experience preferred
