Med Surg RN - Urology/Nephrology

Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN position in a 25-bed Med Surg unit with an average daily census of 23.
Day shift: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM, 3x12 hours.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI.
Experience working with cardiac patients.
Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management.
Blood Product Administration.
Phlebotomy skills.
Experience with PICC lines.
IV insertion skills.
Heparin experience.
Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac) experience.
Experience with CPAP.
Experience with BiPAP.
Experience with Cerner.

Float Scope

May float to other Medical Surgical units.

Preferred

None stated.

Additional Notes

No on-call required.
Locals accepted with no radius.
Pending Illinois license not accepted.
Block scheduling will be tried but is not guaranteed.
RTO ideally no more than 5 days.
Any solid color scrubs.
