Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Job Description

• Position: CT Tech
• Shift: Night shift (NOC) coverage for 13 weeks, with possible OR cases as needed
• Weekend shifts required
• Call: If offered
• Holidays: Coverage for 2 of 3 major holidays
• Float: Yes, to other campuses as needed
• Shift Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts; Days, PM, NOC (no back-to-back AM/PM shifts)

Required Certifications

• ARRT Radiography (R) & CT
• Fluoroscopy
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)

Experience Requirements

• Required: 4-5 years in endovascular and all orthopedic procedures
• Preferred:

  • Experience in teaching hospitals
  • Experience in community hospitals
  • Trauma I or II experience

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit requirement for prior travel experience mentioned

Key Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License or Passport (photo ID, color)
• Background checks within 90 days prior to start, including criminal and sanction searches
• Education verification (highest level completed)
• National and State Licenses current and unencumbered (Radiology/Cardiology license copy required)
• Health documents within 90 days of start:

  • Physical exam (signed by MD, DO, PA, NP, or APRN)
  • Fit mask test (specific mask models required)
  • Immunizations and titers: TDAP, TB test or chest X-ray, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Drug testing (oral saliva screen within 30 days)
  • Flu seasonal vaccination or declination on file
• Competency exams and color blind testing within 90 days of start
• Photo for badge (passport style, no filters)
• Employment history verification for past 3 years and current resume covering last 7 years

Additional Notes

• Float to other campuses as needed
• No back-to-back AM/PM shifts to ensure proper rest
• Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
• Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
• Competencies and new employee orientation modules must be completed by the first day of work

This position is ideal for experienced CT techs with strong endovascular and orthopedic skills, comfortable working night shifts and weekends, and able to meet comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
