Medsurg Float Pool RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Float pool assignment for the Medsurg units.
12-hour day shifts, 07:00–19:30.
36-hour or 48-hour shifts available.
Every other weekend coverage.
Candidates within 75 miles are considered local.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Blood Product Administration
Peripheral Line Care/Management
Experience with PICC lines
IV insertion skills

Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
Competency exam
