Job Overview

  • Schedule: Night shift, Monday through Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM
  • Training: First 2 weeks on day shift
  • Contract length: 8 weeks
  • Scrubs: Charcoal grey

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in New York
  • CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT (R)
  • ARRT (CT)
  • IV Certification

Work Setting and Patient Care

  • Low-volume, steady-paced orthopedic imaging setting
  • Works independently due to very low volume
  • Daily caseload up to 20 patients
  • Patient populations include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • May rotate across multiple departments
  • Experience areas include outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU
  • Procedure experience includes portables, X-ray exams, and CT exams

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices

Additional Notes

  • Accepts first-time travelers
  • Epic is preferred
