7-year background check required within 6 months of start
Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and then monthly
Education verification required for highest level achieved, unless highest education level is high school
Employment application must include full 7-year work history with no gaps
Work history verification must cover up to 7 years and explain gaps over 30 days
Unit-specific skills checklist required
Physical exam required within 1 year of start
Fit test required within 1 year of start and renewed annually
TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and renewed annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start, with annual renewal for TB testing
Drug screen required within 6 months of start
Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
Color vision deficiency, if present, must be documented by a licensed healthcare provider before start
