Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool

Role

Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN
Travel/Contract assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
Start date: 11/9 only

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Critical Care Float (5 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
Pediatrics experience
Experience with mechanical ventilation 2-3 times per week
Experience with extremely low birth weight (ELBW) population, including 22-24 weeks gestation
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

Schedule

6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Major holiday blocks used

Unit Details

NICU home unit: 22-bed Level III
PICU: 8-bed Level II
Pediatrics: 24 beds, general med/surg with embedded Eating Disorder Stabilization Program and long-term EEG program

Notes

RTO maximum: 5 days
No holiday RTO accepted
