Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Springfield, Illinois
- Day shift: 0645-1915
- 25-bed unit with average daily census of 23
- First-timers accepted
- Every other weekend required
- May float to other Medical Surgical units
- Locals accepted
- Block scheduling will be tried but is not guaranteed
- RTO ideally no more than 5 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management experience
- Renal failure management experience
- Blood Product Administration experience
- Central line blood draw experience
- Peripheral Line Care/Management experience
- PICC line management experience
- Starting IVs experience
- Heparin medication experience
- Chest tube management experience (Emerson/Pleur-evac)
- CPAP/BiPAP experience
- Experience with Cerner
