Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification

Assignment Details

• First-time travelers are accepted if they have more than 2 years of experience
• Floating may be required to medical-surgical patients in ICU, PCU, or ED holds
• Every other weekend coverage is expected
• Charge pay is offered

Unit Notes

• Community hospital medical-surgical unit
• Receives patients from OR, ED, and ICU/PCU downgrades
• Typical census includes 8–12 admits over 24 hours
• Target ratio is 5:1 with charge out of staffing; may flex to 6:1
