Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Chicago, Illinois
  • Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday
  • On-call: 2 times per month
  • Locals welcome at the same rate
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Illinois
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Bystander Intervention Training Certificate
  • 2 years of experience in Gynecology Operating Room
  • OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • Experience with Epic

Schedule / Work Setting

  • Operating room setting
  • In-person clinical role

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • E-Verify
  • Background check
  • Illinois health care worker fingerprint registry requirement applies to patient-facing candidates whose profession does not require an Illinois state license
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
  • Competency exam
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask completed on-site
  • Tdap vaccination or approved declination
  • Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
  • TB questionnaire
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation
