Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Vent experience
Emergency response
Ventilator care for chronic trach and vent patients
Rapid Response and Code team activation
Experience with Epic

Scheduling and Assignment Details

Weekend coverage may be every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
One holiday must be worked during the 13-week contract
Requests for time off, block scheduling, and special scheduling must be included with submission
May be required to float within skillset
Locals are accepted

Clinical Setting

General Medicine PCU
Hybrid unit with PCU and ICU beds
Patients include chronic trach and vent-dependent cases
Remote telemetry is used on the unit

Additional Notes

2 clinical references required
Drivers license or state ID required within 48 hours of signing
E-Verify or attestation required
Background check, education verification, physical exam, drug screen, TB screening, and immunization documentation are required before start
