Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech

Contract Length

13 weeks

Start Date

August 3, 2026

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5 days a week, 8 hours per day)
Every other weekend required (one weekend day on call, either Saturday or Sunday, not both)
Weekday on-call coverage twice per week from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Holidays required as scheduled
Floating required within specialty and to other units/facilities within scope

Specialty & Patient Population

Radiology / Cardiology specialty focus
Patient age range: Adults to Geriatrics

Job Responsibilities / Procedures

Perform nuclear stress tests (high scan load, outpatient and inpatient)
Conduct HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies
Use specialized equipment including GE systems and SPEC CTG850

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Maryland
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
