Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (no weekends, no holidays, no on-call)
  • Shift Type: Day shift (4x10 hour shifts)
  • Surgical Services Covered: Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, Ophthalmology, Gynecology
  • Must have Trauma Level 1 experience
  • Scrub experience required; circulating experience preferred
  • Immediate start

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Illinois
  • Minimum of 1 year Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • No weekends, holidays, or on-call duties
  • Local candidates preferred (same rate as local)
  • Must be able to start as soon as possible
