Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Location: Midland, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks (approximately 4 months)
Start Date: Preferred within the next 3-5 weeks
Minimum Contract Duration: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Registered Nurse rotating through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition (no post-partum)
  • Must have certifications in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last year
  • Certifications:
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
    • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
  • Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
