Cath Lab Tech - Arizona

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks (with extension option based on facility need and performance)

Job Description

• Work schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Call requirements: One weekend call per month and 2 call days per week
• Perform independent scrubbing for Left and Right Heart Catheterization cases, Peripheral cases, and Pacemaker cases
• Proficient in operating the C-Arm

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent full-time experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Proven independent ability to scrub in Cath Lab procedures
• Experience with Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, Peripheral cases, and Pacemaker cases
• Proficiency in operating the C-Arm
• Active and unencumbered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Required Certifications & Documents

• Government issued photo ID
• Background check (7-year search within 30 days of start, updated annually)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks (required annually)
• Transcript or diploma verification (or NSCH verification if transcript/diploma unavailable)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Other certifications as applicable (PALS, NRP)
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Immunization or titer proof for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Two professional references within 3 years
• Annual skills checklist
