Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical)

Location: Carmel, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work on a 31-bed med-surg unit with focus on general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric surgery.
Must have experience with bariatric surgery, thyroidectomy, bowel obstruction, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI).
Patient ratio: 1:6
Floating required
Prescreen question: Experience with voiding trials and/or urologic surgeries preferred
First-time travelers accepted
Note: Perioperative/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from a state restriction effective 11/30/24

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Experience with bariatric surgery
Experience with voiding trials and/or urologic surgeries
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
