Med Surg/Telemetry (Days)

Overview

Temp RN role in Sioux City, Iowa.
13-week assignment.
12-hour day shifts.
General medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients who require overnight stays.
Unit details include prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, thyroidectomy, and heparin drips.
May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
First-time traveler okay.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa.
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or US Military.
NIHSS.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Driver's License.
Skills checklist specific to Med Surg/Tele.
1 supervisory reference form completed within the last two years.
Work history.
Nursys must state active Iowa/IA or compact nursing license.

Preferred

BLS from AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted.
