Respiratory Therapist (Temp) – Lansing, MI

Job Summary

Deliver respiratory therapy and patient care according to physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards.
Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take corrective actions as needed.
Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to respiratory therapy.

Required Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Additional Information

Experience includes working with general elective surgeries and critical/life-saving procedures.
No prior travel experience requirement specified.
