Job Description

  • Position: Radiologic Technologist
  • Specialty: X-Ray Technologist

Required Credentials & Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support): Required, must be current
  • ARRT Certification: Required
  • Professional License: Primary source verification required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
  • N95 Fit Test: Must be completed within 365 days prior to start and updated annually (no religious exemptions)
  • MMR Vaccination or Immunity: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
  • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Criminal Background Checks:
    • MGB Criminal Background Check (within 45 days prior to start)
    • Massachusetts CORI check (within 30 days prior to start)
    • National Sex Offender Registry check (within 30 days prior to start and annually)
    • Exclusion Checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start and annually
  • Education Verification: Must verify highest level of education achieved
  • Social Security Number Trace: Required with criminal background check
  • References: Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above, in skillset
  • Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Skills Checklist: Required for submission
  • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions

Preferred / Optional Credentials

  • Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred; record of 3 vaccines or proof of immunity or declination
  • Tdap Vaccine: Preferred, must be within 10 years and updated upon expiration
  • Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray: Required if positive TB test

  • Must comply with all credentialing and health requirements prior to start date
