Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology – Long-Term Assignment
Location: Evansville, Indiana
Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide patient assessment and intervention
- Administer medications and follow physician orders
- Observe patients and document care in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Implement and monitor plan of care including activities of daily living (ADLs)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
- Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience, with oncology experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid driver’s license
Onboarding Requirements
- Signed assignment agreement (offer letter and confirmations)
- Completion of nursing contingent worker onboarding and education attestation
- Submission of a forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
- Completion of skills checklist within one year of start, updated annually
- Criminal background check including social security trace, OIG search, national sex offender registry, and EPLS within 90 days of start, updated annually or after break in service >90 days
- Employment and education verifications completed within 90 days of start, updated annually or after break in service >90 days
- Two professional references required prior to first assignment
