Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology – Long-Term Assignment

Location: Evansville, Indiana
Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide patient assessment and intervention
• Administer medications and follow physician orders
• Observe patients and document care in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Implement and monitor plan of care including activities of daily living (ADLs)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience, with oncology experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid driver’s license

Onboarding Requirements

• Signed assignment agreement (offer letter and confirmations)
• Completion of nursing contingent worker onboarding and education attestation
• Submission of a forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
• Completion of skills checklist within one year of start, updated annually
• Criminal background check including social security trace, OIG search, national sex offender registry, and EPLS within 90 days of start, updated annually or after break in service >90 days
• Employment and education verifications completed within 90 days of start, updated annually or after break in service >90 days
• Two professional references required prior to first assignment
