Travel Therapy - Physical Therapy Assistant

Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Annapolis, MD at a skilled nursing facility. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
<ul><li>Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.</li><li>Active Maryland state PTA license required to start the assignment.</li><li>BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.</li><li>Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.</li><li>Outpatient experience preferred.</li></ul>
 
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Experience working with geriatric populations and in IL/AL (Independent Living/Assisted Living) settings preferred.</li><li>Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams preferred.</li></ul>
 
Assignment Details
<ul><li>Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.</li><li>Work pattern: Five 8-hour shifts per week.</li><li>Meal break: 30 minutes.</li><li>May be required to float to other nearby facilities.</li></ul>
