Job Description

• Provide critical care including management of VADs, ECMO, and arterial lines
• Work in the Emergency Room (ER) unit
• Shift length: 11.5 hours
• Total hours per week: 34.5
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Float requirement: Yes, to areas within acuity appropriate for skillset
• No call requirement
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical declination possible with approval)
• Dress code: Navy bottom with white top and dark shoes, or all white with white shoes

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Critical care experience
• Experience caring for Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs)
• Experience caring for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
• Experience caring for arterial lines (A-lines)
• Trauma experience

• Local rate applies equally to local and travel nurses
