Ultrasound Technologist

Contract Details

  • 13 weeks
  • Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
  • Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

  • Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARDMS
  • ARRT

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform or assist with ultrasound examinations
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound exams
  • Operate, clean, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment
  • Capture images and transfer them to physicians’ workstations
  • Assist with scheduling, telephone coverage, and patient transport as needed
  • Support orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel

Skills and Work Environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of office and administrative practices
  • Ability to use personal computers and software
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
