Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Summit, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied Health
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: PM (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Job Description

• Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices.
• Support requests for durable medical equipment (DME) such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers.
• Assist in training patients on the use of inhalers.
• Set up patients with DME equipment.
• Collaborate closely with physicians.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
