Job Opportunity: RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, Nursery
• Facility Department: Women’s Center
• Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Number of Openings: 1
• Float Requirements: Willingness to float if needed
• Patient Population: Adult and Newborn
• Unit Beds:

  • 4 LDRP Beds
  • 2 Antepartum Beds
  • 10 Postpartum/Post-op/C-section Beds
• Patient Ratios: According to AWHONN and state requirements
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems: Phillips Intellispace Perinatal, Meditech Magic 5.6.7

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, and Nursery
• Preferred: Charge nurse experience

• Dress Code: Any solid color scrubs (scrubs can be provided)
• Facility Size: 100-bed hospital serving a primary service area of approximately 36,000 individuals
• No call requirements
