Position Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a behavioral health/addictions acute inpatient unit. This role involves working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with full-time hours (36 hours/week) or part-time (24 hours/week). Weekend work is required every third weekend. There are no call requirements.

Unit Information

Unit Type: Acute inpatient behavioral health/addictions
Number of Beds: 48
Patient Ratios: Approximately 12:1 (varies with census)
Patient Population: Adult
Equipment/Patient Criteria: Patients must be medically cleared before arrival. Patients with lines or tubes are excluded except for CPAP users and those requiring 2L oxygen or less.
Charting: Primarily paper-based with electronic order entry via HCS platform. Medications dispensed from Pyxis system.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Mood disorders
Psychotic disorders
PTSD
Anxiety disorders

Work Environment & Culture

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required; hoodies are not allowed

Staff rotate between two units within the hospital
