Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Experience / Clinical Background

• Experience recovering post-cath patients without sheath removal
• Experience with pacemaker placements
• Experience with stroke patients
• Experience managing amiodarone drips
• Experience managing Cardizem drips

Unit Details

• Cardiac telemetry unit
• 36 beds
• Patient ratio: 4 to 5:1

Schedule

• 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
• Nights: Friday and Saturday
• Days: Saturday and Sunday

Floating

• Other telemetry departments
• Med-surg
• PCU

• Fast-paced, high-energy team environment
• Grey scrubs for RNs
