Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Per Diem

Job Description

Provide cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients following approved protocols and department policies.
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations.
Conduct pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis.

Contract Length

Approximately 52 weeks (1 year)

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association.

Additional Notes

Must follow facility submission requirements for consideration.
No prior travel experience explicitly required.
