36 beds
1:6 patient ratio
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

12-hour shifts (7-7)
Every other weekend required
Holidays required
Nurses float to other units as needed
Telemetry in each room with monitors at the stations
Procedures performed on the unit include PICC line removal and vas cath/temp cath removal

Strong nursing background, thorough assessment skills, and attention to detail are emphasized
The unit uses patient care techs and unit secretaries
Ceil Blue scrubs are required
Hospital hygiene/dress code policy must be followed
