Unit Details

20-bed transplant nephrology unit
Patient ratio: 1:6
Med/surg care provided on the unit; dialysis is performed off the unit
Floating: agency/contract nurses float first
No on-call requirement
3 weekend shifts per month

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
Med Surg experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg experience
Nephrology experience
Dialysis experience

Additional Notes

Daytime unit secretary support
PCT support available
Unit educator available
Virtual nurse handles patient admissions
