Job Opportunity: SPD Tech

Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certifications and Experience

Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Biomed Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD) required
Minimum 2 years of experience in decontamination and sterilization
Experience with endoscopic instrument processing

Job Duties

Instrument decontamination, including endoscope processing
Instrument assembly and sterilization

Equipment Used

Washer-decontaminator
Ultrasonic cleaner
Cart wash
Scope processing equipment
Steam sterilizers
Low-temperature sterilizers
Automated data/information management systems

Schedule and Work Conditions

8-hour shifts, schedule determined at time of request
Typical shift hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Must work all holidays that fall on scheduled shifts/dates
Floating only to other SPD units within Fargo (SU or BDWY)

Additional Information

BLS certification required
Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
Scrub color provided: Ceil Blue
Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible for traveler status
If previously employed by the facility, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission

This position is suitable for experienced SPD technicians with required certifications and a strong background in instrument sterilization and endoscope processing.
