Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Job Summary

Provide nursing care in a long-term care setting, assisting with day-to-day nursing activities. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate significant changes in resident condition to physicians and families promptly
• Complete resident assessments and medication administration following the 5 Rights
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed
• Assist CNAs with call light responses
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and act as a floor leader by assessing and directing situations
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to appropriate leadership
• Maintain accurate and thorough resident records and charting
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Shift Details

• Week 1: Saturday & Sunday 1:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Wednesday 1:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Thursday 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Week 2: Saturday & Sunday 6:00 AM – 10:30 PM, Wednesday 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Friday 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

This position offers a varied schedule covering afternoon, evening, and night shifts every weekend.
