Job Overview
- Contract role in Hawaii
- 13-week assignment
- 12-hour day or night shifts
- Schedule is 72 hours every 2 weeks
Clinical Setting
- 9-bed adult ICU
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
- May increase to 1:3 or 1:4 during med/surg overflow
- Stable pediatric patients may occasionally be cared for; unstable pediatrics are transferred
- May float to other departments to assist without taking a patient assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Pediatrics experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
Additional Notes
- Minimum of three nurses on each shift
- Charge nurse duties may be assigned
