Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Unit Coverage

Medical Surgical
Cardiac Telemetry
Stroke Neuro
Step-Down ICU
ICU
May float to Medical Surgical if needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Cardiology experience
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, procedures, and state practice laws
Document care according to standards
Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans
Participate in unit performance improvement activities
Provide clinical guidance to other units/departments as needed
Escalate patient safety and patient experience concerns appropriately
