Hospice Outpatient Chaplain

Location: Albany, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Days (0800-1630), no weekends
Hours per Week: 24

Role Summary

Provide hospice chaplain support for patients and families in home-based and other care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and adult foster homes. Services include spiritual support, counseling, bereavement support, and coordination with the hospice care team.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Hospice experience with 2 years of experience
Hospice experience within the last year
Behavioral Health experience
Driver's License

Master’s degree

Cons

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
