Job Overview

• Contract role in Maine
• Night shift
• Provides nursing care for patients on the OB unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Nursery experience
• Post Partum experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate
• NRP
• STABLE
• AWHONN
• C-EFM

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills
• Follow standards of nursing practice and hospital policies
• Manage supplies and equipment
• Promote teamwork with physicians and other hospital departments
