CT Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging) - Contract

Location: Aberdeen, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (8-hour shift)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

• Perform computerized tomography (CT) procedures, including invasive procedures, using a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner.
• Position and instruct patients, operate specialized equipment, and determine technical exposure factors.
• Ensure correct marking and labeling of all films.
• Provide safe, quality patient care consistent with radiology standards.
• Take call as required.
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required, including lifting and moving patients and equipment.
• Use proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and equipment.
• Operate delicate equipment requiring good manual dexterity and motor skills.
• Utilize computer skills for job functions.
• Demonstrate accurate judgment and decision-making consistent with radiology knowledge.
• Provide quality customer service and patient care following established hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Washington
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) and Computed Tomography (CT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

• Moderate physical demands with emphasis on patient and equipment handling.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
