Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT(RT) and ARRT(CT) certifications and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Details

• 13-week contract in a hospital radiology/diagnostic imaging department
• CT procedures performed on a Toshiba Aquilion 64-slice scanner
• Monday through Friday schedule, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (evening shift)
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• On-call responsibilities required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CT and diagnostic radiology
• Active ARRT(RT) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology required
• Active WA state license required, if applicable
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy required
• Ability to meet moderate to heavy physical demands, including lifting up to 40 lbs, pushing a 150 lb loaded stretcher 300 feet, and reaching overhead while holding 25 lbs
• Good stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and motor skills required
• Proficiency with computer systems required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT procedures, including invasive procedures, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist
• Responsible for patient positioning, patient instruction, equipment operation, and determination of technical exposure factors
• Must ensure correct marking and labeling of all images
• Demonstrates accurate clinical judgment and decision-making consistent with radiology knowledge
• Provides quality customer service and patient care in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures
