Overview

• Location: Falls Church, Virginia
• Employment type: Temp
• Contract length: 15 weeks
• Hours: 40 per week, 8 hours per day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• OR - Operating Room experience
• CVOR (2 years of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
• 1 to 2 completed travel assignments

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Day shifts only, with rotation to nights as needed
• Self-scheduling for shifts and call
• Weekend coverage required: 2 to 3 weekends per 6-week schedule period
• Call required: 5 to 6 four-hour call shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Holiday coverage required: 1 major and 1 minor holiday based on contract timing
• Floating may be required to ORs and Woodburn based on census needs

Clinical Setting

• OR has 28 rooms
• Cases include urgent and scheduled weekend cases
• Service lines include orthopedics, general surgery, robotics, organ transplants, ENT, oral/maxillofacial, vascular/thoracic, urology, pediatrics, adults, and pediatrics/neonates
• Neonatal and pediatric experience is preferred
