Registered Nurse – Critical Care (Float CC)

Location: Pennington, New Jersey
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Work Schedule:

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No block scheduling or special accommodations; flexibility required to cover schedule gaps
• Primary unit: Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU)
• May float to other units including Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MST) and other applicable units

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care Float experience, including within the last year
• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
• Background checks, drug screening, competency exams, and various mandatory trainings and verifications required prior to start (including but not limited to Hepatitis B, MMR, TB screening, physical exam, license verification, and educational verification)

This position is ideal for experienced critical care nurses comfortable with floating between units and working flexible night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.
