CT Technologist Position - Florida, Jacksonville

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Schedule: Every weekend rotation required, including July 4th holiday

Required Credentials & Certifications

  • Current Florida state license for CT Technologist
  • ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification (required)
  • ARRT CT certification (preferred)
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Required Qualifications & Documentation

  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
  • Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and match address on file)
  • Professional resume/profile
  • At least two professional references
  • Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others completed within 30 days prior to assignment
  • Employment verification for the past seven years
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work completed within 90 days prior to start
  • Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead
  • Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, and specialty-specific skills checklist (updated annually)
  • Health and immunization documentation including:
    • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
    • Varicella (two vaccines, serological evidence, or verified history; no declinations accepted)
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
    • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
    • Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite)
    • 2-step PPD or IGRA testing for TB with annual updates
    • Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
  • 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually

  • The position requires weekend work every week and holiday coverage on July 4th.
  • Core competencies must be completed with a minimum passing score and updated every three years.
  • Some onboarding forms and attestations must be uploaded prior to or at the start of the assignment.
