Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Days)

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide care to critically ill patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
Manage a variety of patient diagnoses including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical cases.
Maintain professional nursing standards.
Supervise CNAs, SNAs, LPNs, or other healthcare workers as assigned.
Unit has 16 beds.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: Cerner.
Trauma Level: III.
Dress code: Grey.

Hours per day: 12

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with open heart surgery returns.
Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
