Registered Nurse (RN) - First Assist (Days)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Job Description

• Position requires working in an 8-bed unit with facility-provided scrubs.
• Orientation includes an 8-hour non-billable session.
• Call pay includes 4/hour call, call-back, holiday, and overtime multipliers at 1.25%.
• Shift accommodations are not considered; candidates must be willing to work 8-hour shifts.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed. RTO requests after submission will not be approved.
• Candidates must have their own vehicle.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Permanent address must be included in the profile.
• Profiles must include specific interview dates/times of availability; vague availability such as "anytime" is not accepted.
• Travelers must have voicemail set up on their phones for facility contact.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of First Assist experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system is highly preferred.

Additional Information

• All scheduling requests, including time off, must be made at the time of submission; no scheduling changes will be approved after an offer is made.
• Facility will not pend certifications; all required documents must be current and uploaded with the profile.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
