Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington
- 17-week assignment
- Day or night 12-hour shifts available
- 36 hours per week
- Start date: 9/14
- Required to work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Weekend coverage needed as assigned
- No call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Float experience within the last year
- 3 years of float experience
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Experience
- Epidural medication experience
- Teaching facility experience
- Experience titrating insulin and heparin drips
- Experience with PCA pumps and managing epidural medications such as ketamine
Work Setting
- Acute care float pool
- Floats to acute care units, rehab, boarding areas, ED, PACU, and ICU as needed
- Orientation includes 5 different units over 3 shifts
- High-acuity acute care environment
Schedule Notes
- Nights: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Days: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Ratios: Days 1:3-4, Nights 1:4-5
- Open to locals
- Block scheduling not accommodated unless otherwise stated
- RTO should be kept to a minimum
Additional Notes
- Skills checklist and references must be completed within the past 6 months by a direct supervisor
- Parking is available for a daily fee
- Scrubs: any color
